There is value in what is made by hand. Everything from Vurv is hand made from gorgeous materials and lovingly finished by hand. They take pride in knowing their products will end up as a feature in your home. They think of you when they craft their products, and hopefully you will think of them when you enjoy them. They care about the environment. At the most basic level, they conform to Canadian environmental standards. Plus, use formaldehyde free adhesives, non-lacquer finishes, and meticulously separate their wood waste from their recyclable waste, and trash. They also reuse as much material as they can - right down to packing material - shredded office paper (which is not only reused, but can go right back into the bluebag). Next to creating desirable products, the environment is their primary concern.
