Scented candles are such a lovely little luxury. We recently discovered Dayna Decker's eco-friendly Chandels, a richly scented collection of candles that absolutely puts all of those mass-produced scented candles you see in stores to shame. These spectacular candles are made of a resin-based, gel-like wax poured into hand-blown, clear green glass containers. The pure, high-quality wax lasts much longer than typical mass market candle wax.
The wax is infused with complex botanical essenses that have a full floral top note with a woodsy or musky under note. Choose from several selections that include the romantic Yasmin, with Night Blooming Jasmine, Lotus, Rose, White Woods & Sheer Musk or the more exotic Zelia with White Lotus, Cypress, Incense, Oakmoss & Cedarwood. There's also Violetta, Clementine, Leila and Sierra, all with distinctive and unusual blends of fragrances.
The wicks of these unique candles are of eco-friendly wood that adds an added element to the experience of enjoying them. As the wicks burn, they crackle and pop like firewood, adding a bit more ambience to the mood set by the wonderful scent and flickering flame. They burn clean and smoke-free and are easy to trim - just break off any charred wood before lighting.
