This clever little light bulb cover is the epitome of simplistic design that fills a need you may not know you had. Each of these soft rubber sheaths fits snuggly over any standard light bulb of 40 watts or less (or higher wattage if it's an energy efficient bulb). The sheath flares out and forms a stylish skirt of color around the base of the bulb.
The bulbcap is ideal for covering bare bulbs hanging from the ceiling or for adding some whimsy to standing lamps if you're tired your typical lampshades. The silicone rubber imparts a slight glow of color and will brighten any room. Play with them - have fun! The caps are also photosensitive - they contain pigments that absorb light over time. When the lights are turned off, the bulbcap will glow yellow-green for a short time.
We thought of dozens of ways to use these bright, inexpensive bulbcaps.
