OFFECCT Flower Stool/Table
When we first saw the Flower Stool/Table by OFFECCT, we smiled. The first indication of good design is whether you have a visceral reaction to it, and it's darned hard not to smile when you see these bright, bold whimsical tables. Each one is made of cold foam filling and coated with slick polyurethane in one of four bright colors (red, orange, black or white). The designer, Eero Koivisto, wanted to, "make the user happy," and succeeds admirably the FLOWER stool/table, furniture that's childlike in its freshness, vibrancy and simplicity.
These versatile stools can also be used as side tables and interlock with each other like six-petalled puzzle pieces to create myriad interesting shapes.
Easy care and weather resistant, you can use these playful Flowers in any room for a bold splash of unexpected color or scatter them around your back patio or pool. Don't worry about damage - you don't have to worry about water rings or chipped finishes on these daisy-bright tables (stools?) and your guests can sit on them comfortably whether they're in a their finest party clothes or a dripping wet bathing suit.
