fambuena HOOPmetal
HOOPmetal may be the sexiest, most mysterious light you'll ever find. Nicola Nerboni designed this indirect light treatment for Fambuena in 2006 and it's instantly recognizable. HOOPmetal is for those who appreciate the dramatic impact of understatement.
These lights use low wattage fluorescent bulbs behind large, flat discs of glossy metal, so they're energy efficient as well as incredibly attractive. There are no extraneous features at all on the HOOPmetal light; no trimming, visible switches or decorative clutter. The bold wall sconces are glossy black or white metal ovals that seem to hover just above the surface of any wall with the fluorescent light spilling out from behind in a rich, ambient glow for indirect impact that adds mood and allure to any room.
HOOPmetal lights can also be flush-mounted to the ceiling for soft, atmospheric lighting with none of the harsh glare of bulbs shining directly down on your guests. The diffuser discs provide just the right amount of indirect light for socializing or relaxing. The high-gloss surface features a hint of reflection to add movement and interest to the room as people walk by.
