Although he claims that his work is far from "art," one of the best contemporary artists of our time, Takashi Murakami is being honored with a celebrated exhibition at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA.
Nearly 90 of his works are available for perusing in an assortment of mixed media, including art, sculpture, books and film, which is just the way Murakami likes it. To put that exclamation at the end of the exhibition, an exclusive chance to discuss the display and pieces with Murakami in person will be available to the public during closing weekend.
