In a world where everybody wants everything, knockoffs run rampant. Can’t afford that new designer bag? No problem; just get the knockoff. How about those oh so streamlined salt'n pepper shakers you saw in Germany? Get them cheaper in China!
The Plagiaruis Award seeks to place blame and shame on those that seem to think that piracy, counterfeiting and stealing is quite alright. Of the 128 million items pirated in 2007, the best imitators are rewarded with the Plagiaruis Award in hopes that they cease their thieving ways.
