The Dane's and the Swede’s have locked horns in a he-said she-said battle that might just unfurl into an out of control battle in the near future.
The Danish community has recently accused the Swedish furniture company IKEA of "Imperialism" after a pattern emerged that all of the company’s floor products were named after Danish communities.
The Dane's claim that flooring products are as low as you can go. The Swede’s claim that the accusations are ludicrous, that floor products are some of the most important features in a home and that the company has succeeded in bringing attention to these Danish towns.
The Dane's plan of attack – to name a low-alcohol content beer after a Swede's since they apparently detest light beers.
Is this a case of "I read too deeply into this" that has spiraled into a childish game or a simple continuation of the animosity the countries have held against each other for decades? That’s for you to decide!
