It’s a fact that French designer and engineer Jean Prouve (1901 – 1984) liked to dabble.
His contemporary mind played in the genres of architecture, drawing, film, photos and furniture design.
Right now, until April 13, London’s Design Museum is exhibiting a collection of powerful works that will move and inspire all who see it.
An £8.50 ticket will buy you more motivation than you can muster as it also allows you into Prouve’s Maison Tropicale at Tate Modern exhibit. This prototype was first designed by the mastermind in the 50s to help solve the housing crisis in West Africa. Now it will stand proudly at Tate Modern for all to ogle and heck, maybe motivate an admirer enough to try to solve some worldly problems on their own.
