Sure, we have all seen the ultra boring house tours that explain in a droning voice what our eyes can obviously see.
Apparently Ila Beka and Louise Lemoine have heard our pleas of boredom and need for a more exciting approach to narrated house tours. And boy did they deliver.
Their ground-breaking movie entitled the Koolhaas Houselife, takes an intimate look at internationally known architect Rem Koolhaas’ Bordeaux collaboration with OMA.
They take focus away from the tedious dictionary definitions of structure and into the storied daily life of the house. By following those who know Bordeaux best, like the housekeeper Guadalupe Acedo, we get a more interactive look at each nook and cranny that this iconic home has to offer.
