For billionaires Mukesh and Nita Ambani building their home was as daunting a task as building a skyscraper, literally.
Their 22 story tower, located in Mumbai, is completely customized to Nita’s liking.
The entire home is comprehensive yet each floor uses its own distinct materials that are not to be repeated anywhere else in the structure.
Though it isn’t scheduled to be completed until January 2009, thus far the Ambani home, titled Antilla, features a grand ballroom, sweeping views of the Arabian Sea and downtown Mumbai, a health floor complete with a cooling room with man-made snowflakes and a comprehensive Vaastu flow (Indian tradition similar to Feng Shui).
Total costs will come close to $2 billion dollars; not too shabby considering they are worth close to $43 billion.
Antilla is merely pocket change.
