Fibonacci Lampshade by Alan Jost

There has been an increasing trend of simple creative shades that fit over single light bulbs. They're great because they're convenient, functional, affordable, stylish and flexible. We came across the Fibonacci Lampshade the other day by Swedish designer Alan Jost from Brandnewdesign. The design is very pleasing to the eye. His lampshade is made of silicon rubber - it arrives flat and forms into shape thanks to gravity. Jost's inspiration comes from the Fibonacci mathematical number sequence. Available for $70.
