We love the Mushroom Family by De La Espada - three wonderfully carved wood shapes resembling the curvaceous forms of mushrooms that look like they've sprung right from the ground wherever you've placed them. This set of two small tables and a stool are all organic curves and wood, ready to add warmth and texture to whatever room you place them in.
The smooth curves of each piece flare out at the top and base, where they are gently rounded, similar to mushrooms. The incredibly smooth, polished wood of each piece is assembled in broad bands that highlight the rich grain of the wood by setting them against each other at different angles.
The tables are topped with painted glass in either black or white, while your guests can perch comfortably atop the mushroom stool upholstered with either black or white leather. You can choose from traditional oak, white oak or walnut with either color to give you plenty of contrast options.
These tables have the organic appeal of natural, oiled wood with a modern twist thanks to their smooth glass tops, making them ideal accent pieces for a contemporary living or bedroom. They'll look fabulous as bedside tables where you don't have a lot of space, or group a few of the stools around the higher table in a corner for an interesting little conversation area.
