When I first saw these I wasn't quite sure what to think - the story is quite fascinating! The black containers represent the age-pyramids of the populations of France, Japan, Egypt, Russia and the USA moulded in 3D. The dramatic display creates a radical representation of our human bondage in this world from birth to death. The concept is very unique and powerful. "Age of the world" designed by Mathieu Lehanneur will be shown at the Issey Miyake store in Paris during Fashion Week in October.
