Our very special Halle (beautiful Weimaraner) got a chance to model some of Hip Hound Couture's stylish canine products. She paraded the Bohemian Rhapsodie collection which interestingly matches her personality and colors perfectly; "Bohemian: one who lives and acts with no regard for conventional rules of behavior" - yup that's Halle! They have a series of designer dog leads, collars and harnesses made of durable, easy to clean material that is ultra-soft. The designs are modern, fun and made of water-based inks that are embedded into the fabric - the colors won't fade out with everyday use. We enjoyed the overall lasting quality of the hardware - crucial when you live & play with a strong energetic beast!
They also have a fun collection of DogOscopes, Astrology inspired original dog ID tags and charms for your pooch. We love the clever names; Gemutti, Libarka, Capricanine, Scorpupio and more. It's great to know that Halle's officially a Viruffgo! They even have one specially made for rescue dogs called Ruffscue, so cute and sweet! These tags are super resistant and durable, the designs are covered with a clear epoxy coating. Constructed of nickel-plated steel with a smooth back for easy engraving.
Hip Hound works with several dog charities and organizations. $1 from the retail sale of each tag is donated to The Brittany Foundation, a no-kill dog sanctuary near Los Angeles. 10% from every collar sale (leads and harnesses, too) goes towards supporting Best Friends' Puppies Aren't Products initiative.
We love that they showcase the designers and celebrate the unique concepts and designs. It's also very easy to appreciate that their product line is modeled around giving back and making a difference. The collection is distinct and very high quality - nothing but super Wags from Halle!
