What exactly does FOKāL mean?
The name is inspired and derived from the word "Focal" which means of, relating to, being, or having a focus. We decided to play off the term "Focal Point" which is commonly used in design to define a point of interest or center of attention. Pronounced 'fO-kAl. We branded the word in our own unique way and the rest is history.
I sent a request some time ago and still no word. What's going on?
A response can take time because we get so much daily correspondance. Also note that you will receive an e-mail from our Spam Filter requesting authorization. We read every single enquiry and do our best to respond in a timely manner. Your patience is always appreciated. If the matter is urgent and you haven't heard from us within 48 hours, please contact us again.

How can we get listed or featured in your Design Index directory?
You can suggest your site by visiting our submit page. Please keep in mind that FOKāL is NOT an open directory. All submissions are carefully reviewed and considered but are NOT guaranteed to be included within our pages.
We submitted a site to Design Index and it's still not listed. Why?
Due to the large amount of request we receive on a daily basis, it can take up to a week for your listing to go live. You will hear from us when and if you have been added to our Design Index. Keep in mind that we have the right to refuse any submission for whatever reason - submitting your site does not guarantee a listing.
We submitted a press release and don't see it online yet?
All submitted news is reviewed by our team. We get so many requests daily that only a portion actually make it online.
Can FOKāL write about our company, service or product?
We are always looking for fresh new products and innovative companies. Don't hesitate to send in your press kits or products for review and editorial consideration.

How many impressions or hits can I expect with any given campaign?
The amount of traffic you can generate depends on the quality of your ad and the service you offer. We don't track specifically by area or package. We do offer global website statistics and demographics. Our prices are extremely competitive and very affordable for the quantity and quality of traffic we serve on a daily basis.
